Once again the JKA Malta squad flew to Crawley, England to compete in the JKA England Open Competition 2019.
This year we had a couple junior newcomers who excelled in their performances. Well done Shayma En Najar and Liam Camenzuli on your first international competition.
Massive Congratulations to all the competitors from Norway, Berlin, England and Scotland who performed today. You showed great spirit and JKA technique đȘđ„
As always we'd like to thank our hosts JKA England for once again hosting such a well organised event.

1st Place GOLD in Kata category (ages 6 to 9 years, 9th to 7th Kyu)
1st Place GOLD in Kata category (ages 10 to 12 years, 9th to 7th Kyu)
2nd Place SILVER in Kumite category (ages 10 to 12 years, 9th to 7th Kyu)
Black belt categories (1st Dan and above)
1st Place GOLD in Junior Ladies Kata category (ages 16 to 20 years)
2nd Place SILVER in Senior Ladies Kata category (ages 21 years and over)
Brown belt categories (3rd Kyu to 1st Kyu):
Passed through 2 rounds in Kata category (ages 10 to 12 years)
Placed Top 8 in Kumite category (ages 10 to 12 years)
Finalist 4th Place in Kata category (ages 13 to 15 years)
Placed Top 8 in Kumite category (ages 16 to 18 years)
Placed Top 16 in Kata category (ages 16 to 20 years) - youngest in her pool.
