Well done to ALL the Maltese squad for your solid performances! Here are the results:
Colour belt categories (9th Kyu to 4th Kyu)
1st Place GOLD in Boys Kihon-Ippon Kumite Category (10 to 12 years old, 6th- 4th kyu)
4th Place in Girls Individual Kata Category (10 to 12 years old, 6th to 4th kyu)
Brown belt categories (3rd Kyu to 1st Kyu):
Top 8 in Girls Individual Kumite Category (13 to 15 years old)
Top 16 in Girls Individual Kumite Category (13 to 15 years old)
Lukas Seifert and Samuel Sammut were unfortunate in their very first experience in competition but gave a solid performance.
Black belt categories (1st Dan and above)
1st Place GOLD in Male Individual Kata Category (20 to 39 years old)
3rd Place BRONZE in Senior Male Individual Kumite Category (40 years old and over)
3rd Place BRONZE in Female Individual Kata Category (16 to 19 years old)
4th Place in Female Individual Kata Category (20 to 39 years old)
Massive thanks goes to our Chief Instructor Sensei Dario Chircop for all the time, effort and patience dedicated into teaching and training us for such competitions everyday.
