On the 30th October 2021, six karateka from JKA-Malta flew to Crawley, England to participate in the JKA England Open Competition. It was the first live competition (not online) since the start of the Covid-19 global pandemic.
Our competitors felt that the atmosphere at the K2 Arena was different from previous years as everyone was super excited to be back on the tatamis! This time round there were many competitors from different karate backgrounds and from various european countries, which made the competition even more interesting.
Thanks to the JKA England Committee for hosting yet another successful Open Competition. We look forward to your next one!!
Grateful to all coaches, medical staff and parents, who sacrificed their time and efforts to attend this event. You all made this experience worthwhile. Highly appreciated!
